Hello,
I'm researching a story in which a computer programmer was fired. He's been in the business about 14 years or so. He has been unemployed for four months, looking for full-time work. In the meantime, he says he's done a couple of projects while looking for work.
My question is: How realistic is it for a guy with that level of experience to get decent freelance work?
How hard is it to get freelance programmer work for an experienced programmer?
Other than Upwork, craigs and Fiverr, are there other ways to get work other than through word of mouth?
Thanks,
SCOTT
