freezing when I submit .....

I did a basic asp page where I can import data
from sql server by an excel spreadsheet. I'm doing a query
and I transfere with the function = Response.ContentType
= "application/vnd.ms-excel". It's going well with small
count but when I'm around 5000 data it's freezing???

Can someone tell me what is going on? and how I can fixe
this?
