Giving 2 different functions the same same.

For instance, the following are prototypes for 2 different functions both
named f. The identifier f has more than 1 meaning-- and is said to be
overloaded.
int f();
int f(int);

Operators like + are overloaded as well. For instance 5 + 5 and 5.0 + 5.0
are two completely different operations to the computer, since the internal
representation of an integer and a floating point number are so different,
yet we use + to refer to either of them.
