Getting DropDownList DataTextField Value? Given the SelectedValue and/or SelectedIndex

I'm in the vb.net codebehind and there is a piece of the Value of the
DataTextField that I need? Given that the SelectedValue and
SelectedIndex are set, how do I get the VALUE of the DataTextField for
the selected entry.
