GMT is off

GMT time is off by like 10 minutes when I call
strftime("%I:%S", gmtime())
How do you correct it? My windows time is set correctly. Also can you make
it report time in the EST time zone?

Ok i figured out how to get EST but how do you correct the time?

%S == seconds. You probably are looking for %I:%M (or %I:%M:%S).
