Google and Frames

Asked Google what it knew about "Clinton Bush charts". After only a
few days up was delighted to see my site on the first page of results.

Delighted until I clicked on me. Website said, in its entirety,
"Select topic (above)".

That's a sensible page to load into a frame when there's a menu above
that needs a choice. Why Google thought it was the gateway to my site
is a mystery.

If you don't use frames, this isn't an issue. If you use frames,
<script>if (self === top) window.location = 'the.real.top';</script>

Well, perhaps you shouldn't.
<script>if (self === top) window.location = 'the.real.top';</script>

And your visitor has JS enabled... Anyway, what is the relevance of your
observations for this NG?
