After days of hassle and two posts here I have a report for the unwary
novice. If you use a User Control to provide a navigation menu then all the
pages that it references should be in the same directory as its hosting page.
If, for example, your pages are organised into neat directories below the
root but your menu widget is also used in default.aspx in the root, then you
are cruising for a bruising. Can't tell you why tho', I'm afraid.
So put all those pages in the same directory and you'll be fine.
Anyone know different?
