Graphics library with errorbars

Gerald Ebberink

Hi All,

I'm very new in the world of ruby and working on translating some octave
scripts (since that is not available on all stations and the scripts do
nothing very fancy).

But I do need errorbars on my plots (which are for now saved as png's).
I looked into gruff for making the graphs but it does not seem to
support errorbars.

any hints to where I might look?

Kind regards,
Gerald Ebberink

You could use Gnuplot and the Ruby/Gnuplot bindings
(http://rgnuplot.sourceforge.net/).

Farrel,

Thanks for your pointer, it looks interresting (also because of the fact
that the octave script uses this) but I would rather have the nice
graphs (looks do count sometimes) of gruff...

Kind regards,
Gerald
