Help using xml to integrate rss feeds in a website

Hello,
I am currently using Magpie 0.72 which is a news reading for reading various
newsfeed. I have tried various xml parser that can translate a .rss or .rdf
file to a xml or xhtml webpage. If anyone has a example of some step by step
instructions or a example on how they got it to work that sure would be
appreciated.
