Out of curiousity, why are you sending the OP posts about Tcl/Tk in a Perl
newsgroup? Would not a pointer to Perl/Tk be better?

Check out comp.lang.perl.tk it's a friendly place.

Mastering Perl/Tk by Steve Lidie and Nancy Walsh is a good book.
