2 digit? you mean 2 character..
2 digit would be
12.com or 99.com

and i think about every 2 character domain name is taken so..

I believe every single one of the 676 two letter combinations has been
registered already, although you might be able to purchase them from someone
for a lot of money.
here is a listing of most:
http://blog.citycynic.com/2letter.php
a few missing there, if you do a whois on them you find out they are already
taken as well, although I didnt check all the missing ones.

Not sure about letter + number, might want to try that...although again,
theres only 260 of those (2 characters) so more likely than not, they are
all already reserved, probably all by people trying to sell them back by
some obscene amount.

BUT, i just went to my registrar (godaddy.com) and if you try putting in
anything that's less than three characters it gives you a problem....so
perhaps there is so other limitation/rule that is not explicitly described?
Could be that every single possible combination of 2 characters (letters and
numbers) is taken, as well as single letter ones, so rather than do a search
it automatically just makes you enter 3.....not sure, but I am curious now.

If you have any chance of getting one, deleteddomains.com would probably be
a good starting point.

Under the current ICANN agreements for all the global TLDs, two letter
domains are reserved and can't be registered. However, existing
registrations are grandfathered. The .org registry (recently spun off
from Verisign) is actually enforcing this, and won't let you register a
two-letter .org even if one of the existing registrations expires. The
new TLDs like .info have enforced the rule from the start. However,
Verisign seems to be ignoring it, so people have on occasion managed to
register two-letter .com or .net domains on the rare occasions where
past registrations lapse.

How to get 2 digit domain names

They are all already registered. They are for sale for mostly 6 figure offers. Some for 7 figures. Go to sedo dot com
sedo has a list of these premium domain names for sale. Just go to buy domains, select dot com and specify two characters. There are only a handful of the 1296 names available for sale.

These domains are the waterfront property on the internet. If I had deep pockets I would by all of them . They will never go down in value. I made a bid for B3.com for 50K and was turned down with the standard comment of "I have received higher offers". I bid on je.com and also was turned down.

The sedo list of 2 digit names is about half of what it was a couple of years ago. Soon they will all be gone. Any bid accepted under 50K is guaranteed money in the bank.
