how to add automatically bold mark-up to text in detailsview in editmode?

Hello guys,

i have a detailsview which contain a multiline textbox in order to enter
text (in editmode) which must be published. Is it possible to add (by
clicking on a picture, just like in a chat forum) e.g. bold mark-up to text,
instead of to enter manually <b> and </b>? I can do this with stand-alone
textbox, but embedded in a detailsview, how do i do that?
