HtmlInputFile and ClientSide scriptiing

Jon Turner

Is there a way to stuff a filename and path into this control at runtime
on the browser using javascript ? I don't want the user to have to browse
to a file
but just answer a few questions and I compute the filename + path
of where the file will be located.

Just how do I go about this.

Many Thanks

i think it is not allowed in client side scripting... bcos it is a huge
security hole. if you need to do it like that, you have to develop an
activeX and in the client side you have to give the permission for that
activeX.... (or you can get a certificate from verisign or some place)
