Icon as errorProvider in WebForm

I'm using a RequiredValidator (WebFom)..

is there a way to show an icon similar to the erroProvider's icon (WinForm)
when there's not input on a field?

I think it should work, if you just write an "<img ..." tag into the
ErrorMessage of the validator.
