IE 6 refresh behavior

I seem to be seeing the following: I have a server running linux,
apache, perl. When I IE 6 browse a page and refresh, I have to resend.
Cool. But then I seem to go one page back to the last submit, which I
now dont want to resubmit. Does this make any sense, and if so, how can
I arrange not to resubmit on refresh? As opposed to submitting only
when the "submit" button gets hit?

You do not seem to have a Perl question.
