IE 7.0 outer div height issue

In IE 7.0 , Outer div height is not automatically growing to include its
child divs and other controls like ASP panel etc ( again their size is
dynamic). In IE 6.0 it was seameless.

Any thoughts are highly appreciated.

Actually the IE6 behavior was bad. If you define the size of an element, it
should be exactly the size you defined. min-height allows to define a
minimal height and grow as needed.

Sounds like you might need
<div style="clear:both;"></div>

just before the closing </div> of the Outer div.
