At issue is the problem described here (which I hope is fixed in the
script):
<http://garyharan.com/index.php/2008...not-open-the-internet-site-operation-aborted/>

I don't have IE7 here but I do have FF2, and it shows me these JS
warnings, which may or may not be relevant:

Warning: Unknown property '-ms-filter'. Declaration dropped.

Line: 27

I also see that your page contains 864 Errors, 5 warning(s) in the
markup (http://validator.w3.org/). It also has 3 errors and 9 warnings
in its CSS (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/).

I figure whatever IE7 does with a big nasty page like that is probably
acceptable. ;-)

Perhaps you know (or don't even care) that IE6 doesn't choke on your page.

Not as immediately obvious what you are talking about as should be.

What exactly is *your* aim in marking up like this:

<td><a href=01.jpg rel=lightbox title="Here you see the starting point,
a pump, seals kit with the control lever seal and driveshaft seal."><img
src=Preview/01.jpg alt=01.jpg width=300 height=225 /></a></td>
<td><a name=1 href=#1 title='Link to this picture'>1</a><br />
Here you see the starting point, a pump, seals kit with the control
lever seal and driveshaft seal.<p />As usual, all components must be
clean with strict cleanliness maintained throughout. Moreover, a good
lubrication of parts that push, contact, or slide is essential during
the reassembly.</td>

(btw, the general format way you are doing this is very good. If you
have no *good reason* for all the anchors and tooltips, get rid of them
all. If you need to link into a part of the page from elsewhere and wish
to identify particular spots, you can use the simple id="..." in an
element at that spot.)

My immediate concern is that the page does not crash IE7. Can anyone
confirm it for me?

Oh, before anyone is (if your are lucky) some day doing what you've
asked for, you will get a lot of tips, corrections and suggestions you
have not asked for at all - it's always like this in the usenet, you
have to get used to it.

p.s.: I hav no IE7, so I cannot test your site, too, I'm sorry...

I guess IE7 is not so popular, so I won't worry about the crash the
page was causing.

Oh, it is still popular (dunno why). Even IE6 is still in use.
Looks like M$ is already pushing IE8 anyway.

They did indeed, IE8 is pushed via automatical update in Windows since
last week.
