IIS 5 SMTP Issue

Hi all, I have an ASP script that uses CDONTS on a Win2K/IIS5 server. The
script sends email to about 1200 people, breaking them down into groups of
50 per email. It sends to most of the people, but then I am left with a
bunch of messages in the queue folder. Those messages then create .stm and
..stl files. What are those files, and why aren't the .eml queue files being
sent? Is it possible that one bad email address chokes the entire message?

The application event log only shows that it couldn't deliver to an invalid
address. I am assuming those messages will eventually go to the bad folder.
But, what do the .stl and .stm files stand for?

I'm not sure what the stl and stm files are. I've seen .bad files and what
not for non-delivered messages. Try opening them in your favorite text
editor, i.e. www.textpad.com, and see what they say.
