Implement IIS on WAN

HI,
I am working in one leading insurance company in india.
currently i m working in VB 6. But i want to switch to ASP. I had main
query that is HOW WE INSTALL IIS SERVER FOR WAN?

Our Organization has various branches in various city. like Delhi,
mumbai etc.
so i developed this application in mumbai. curruntly this application
is only accessed in LAN.
but now i want to access this with only branch offices. so please help
me to know how to install
IIS for this type of WAN. should i want to use VPN or any other
network Technology.
