Including inline XHTML elements in a Relax NG schema

Hi,

I'm developing a validation schema for a new thing called extensible
open xhtml outlines (XOXO) [1]. I'd like to include inline XHTML
elements in these outlines, and do the least amount of work possible
to get it working.

I've done some work [2] on the schema, are there ways easily include
inline elements in the li elements?

Since we're using XHTML modules, is it possible to create the schema
using only references (of some sort) to XHTML modules?
