indexing library for C++

Hi
I need a library to include and use in my C++ program (on windows) that does
the following:
Given a text and an text id it will index the text for search (but does not
store the text, this is important).
Given some words and phrases it returns all text id's of texts that matches
them.

Does anyone know of such a library - I would prefer it to be open source or
free but it might also be commercial.

The Metamorph library from Thunderstone will do exactly this. can also
do it at a PM rate which is generally faster than the I/O channel can provide
the data. See: http://www.thunderstone.com/
