Info on Freeze ?

I'm trying to readup on 'Freeze' but I can't find anything on
Python.org. Searching for 'python freeze' on Google tends to bring up
lot of comment about Freeze but not a definitive
reference/explanation. Can anyone provide a URL for me please ?

BTW in case it matters I got python as a pre-built binary for WIN32
which (I understand) does not include Freeze so maybe I'm missing the
documenation as a result ?

As far as I know the only documentation is in the source of Python.
Just download and unpack the source distribution.
There is a Tools/freeze directory with a README file.

I have found no other info.

OK thanks Luca - I'll do that. I thought there might have been a web
page somewhere dedicated to it but I'll do as you say and get the
source.

You might also be interested in Gordon Macmillans installer, see
