I am trying to generate a web site with videos on it of performances.

I am aware of how to put the videos on the web page but when i come to
preview it in the browser there is the message:

"To help protect your security, Internet explorer has resistricted the
webpage from running scripts or active x controls that could access
your computer."

Is there a way of making videos appear on a webpage without it needing
an active x control (without having to change internet explorers
settings) ?

Many thanks
chris

Is this seen when testing on your own computer, by any chance? Try
uploading it somewhere, and see what happens. You may find that it
stops. If so, I believe that this is a security feature of IE, which
can be switched off, if you google for the solution.
