Intranet access to SQL Server security issue

I've lost count of the number of postings I have read on this subject
yet I can not find an answer.

I've set up my config file with impersonation as true, IIS is set to
Basic and Integrated authentication. The web page works fine on my
local machine, but on the intranet server I get the error Login
failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL
Server connection.

The SQL server security is set as Windows and SQL Server. I have added
the Domain Users group to SQL Server and given it access to the
database.

Anybody have any ideas?

My local machine uses IIS 5.1 and the intranet server uses IIS 6.0 .
Could this be the issue?

I thought I was there for a second. Unfortunately we are not running
AD. How do I get around this?
