Is that possible to install Ruby in a CD or USB to be used in Solaris 9?

Hi All,
I am working usually on a WSs with Solaris 9 but which does not have
Ruby installed, and as I want to be able to run Ruby scripts on them,
so is that possible to have it installed on a CD or USB memory key?

Yes, but only if it's first been compiled by Solaris.
