Java app contract agreement

So I have a java application that customers fill out. when they get to a certain point they have to agree to a contract. there's no SSNs or credit cards stored or captured with this system it's simply contact information and agreement to our provided services. i.e. if you don't pay your bill we send you to collections etc etc. the obvious stuff. my question is. is it suitable for this to just have them click I have read and agree to blah blah blah check box and then have a continue button bound to the check box much the same as the agreement to register at this website? or do I need to invest in signature pads and a much bigger solution?
