JAVA/ MULTI YEARS CONTRACT/ KC MO AREA



I am an independent recruiter that has been brought on by a major
consulting company to

help fill a dozen JAVA positions for a long term project. This is for a
government entity

and funding has been approved and a start date set. This contract will last
for years as

the first phase alone is over two years, and there are multiple phases.
Since there is a

security clearance, one MUST be a US CITIZEN, no exceptions. If after

All work weeks will

be 44 hours, although more overtime may be available at times if desired.



Since this contract will be multiple years, NO EXPENSES are paid and the
rate reflects a local person’s rate. Local and regional candidates will be
given first priority, but all

will be considered.



Description:

Will work in a team environment working on a personnel administration system
for the military. This is a large web based application that will allow
Navy personnel to make changes in their records via the web. IE: address
change, beneficiaries, etc...

The Java Developer will perform the following functions:

1. Design and implement projects using Java and Java technologies.

2. Design efficient algorithms and business components.

3. Provide detailed code level documentation.

4. Analyze requirements and provide effective solutions.

5. Provide Use Case and other Design documents as required.



Requirements:

Java, J2EE, Struts (MVC -Model View Controller), XML, JSP



Must have 8 solid years of IT experience without an IT degree or 5 years of
solid IT experience with an IT BS degree
