Java support on Pocket PC

Liu, Chunyen

Just got a nice HP iPAQ with CPU speed of 400 Mhz.
Wonder if there is any good Java support on Pocket PCs.
I did a quick web search. It seems most of the support
is on Palm OS.

Any pointers?

Thanx.

There are no *free* implementations of the MIDP for Pocket PC, but there
are commercial ones available. Check out Esmertec and IBM's Websphere
Micro Edition.

Isn't J9 free?
