Java WSDP 1.5 and Tomcat 4

Hello all,

Here is a simple question: does anyone know if I can run WSDP 1.5 (a
JAX-RPC remote service) with tomcat 4.1? I see they recommend to use
tomcat 5, but I have good reasons to stay with tomcat 4.1.

Thanks,
GC

Sure. There's lots of different ways to do SOAP with JWSDP - stubs,
dynamic invokation, wsdl - and I've had no problems with tomcat 4.1
when I was using it. However, you might give a look torwards Axis. I
know both well, and Axis is much easier and has more of a community to
get help from. Especially if you are using Tomcat - where Axis is also
a Jakarta project. If you decide to go with JWSDP and Tomcat, you might
conside using JBoss which comes bundled with tomcat, in order to get
support on their lists.
