JButtons in JTables

I know how to add JButtons to a JTable.
Iknow how to trap an event clicking on them.

What I haven't been able to figure out is how to get the normal button
behavior to work on a button in a JTable:
1. Button Down
2. Button Up while mouse still down but off.
3. Button Down again when down button back over mouse.

Has anybody done this?
