The Florida Center for Library Automation is looking for a programmer
for a one-year term position on a Federally funded grant related to
the long-term preservation of digital materials. Rank is IT Expert

The position requires a high school diploma and 4 years of any
combination of relevant experience, education and/or certification;
strong programming skills in the Unix/Linux environment, Java or Ruby
preferred; experience with at least one relational database system,
preferably MySQL; good verbal and written communications skills in
English. A Masters Degree in Computer Science, experience with XML,
XSL and XML-related technologies strongly preferred. Familiarity with
open source software development, perl or other scripting languages a
plus.
