key of inserted record (autonumber)

I am using a detailsview to insert records into an accessdatasource.

I just want to retrieve the primary key of the inserted record.

I have seen all sorts of solutions for an objectdatasource or an
sqldatasource, but cannot find a solution for accessdatasoure.

I have tried using select scope_identity() at the end of the INSERT
command.

It can't be that difficult can it?

Help please!!!
