Hi there!

First of all, I hope I am in the right NG.

Does anyone know how I can use Inotify to watch the whole Filesystem
(not only specific Files or Folders)? Maybe Beagle acts like this ....
but its mono ... uaaaghh

I don't want to develop another index machine, I just want to build
something like "realtime" locate with a mysql DB. So would be cool if
somebody could provide me with a code snippet to watch the whole
Filesystem. If there is a better solution as Inotify -> please let me
know.

THX!

PS soory for my bad english!

No, you're not in the right newsgroup. Try a Linux group (I'm not
sure which one).

<OT>Linux, like C, is case-sensitive; I think it's "inotify", not
"Inotify".</OT>
