Location of a Data Source in an ASP.Net architecture.

This is so simple that I cannot find any documentation on it. Where
does/should the datasource be locatedin an ASP application - Web Server,
Client computers? I am working with MS Access and want to put reports up on
our Web, using ASP net as the intermediary. Have no local server/client
architecture, just a bunch of PCs peer to peer. Where should the Access DB
go?

If you have an ASP.Net aplication, then you have a web server (may be any of your "peers") which runs Internet Information Server. To achieve a good performance, and for security reasons, the Access database should be placed on the same box (though it could be located on a shared resource anywhere on your network
