I need some asp code that can give me the user that is logged on to the PC,
can anyone help?

Sometimes it is empty, but not allways.
But I have seen some entries in the results that were not empty.
(I stored them all in a DB)

It might have been this only works in a LAN.

If your IIS is set to use Basic Authentication or Windows Authentication
then LOGON_USER is populated.

Clearly, this will only work (practically) in an enclosed environment--such
as an intranet.

But only if Anonymous is turned off.

I do not have the ability to control my users IIS, unfortunately so therefor
I cannot use the servervariables.
