Login control link to a list of user in my SQL database

Hi,

I am new the login control in asp.net. Please advice for the following
issues:

What I am trying to do is to create a login page, list of users can be
found in a table in SQL server

Questions:
1. How can link these users to this control?
2. How does this login control link to the rest of the aspx pages, as
only authorized users are allowed to access the rest of the pages in
the web applicaitons?
