looking for image format converting lib

Hi!
I liked to know if someone knows a stable, up-to-date library who has
implemented the converting of different image formates, like .png, .tiff, .
jpg and so on.
If you know one that does converting to .mpg video tell me as well...

I think a better place to ask would be either comp.graphics.algorithms
or a newsgroup for your OS. Also, look up Nikki Locke's post in this
newsgroup, titled "Available Libraries FAQ" (or something like it), it
is a huge list of categorised libraries for C++, maybe you could find
something useful there...

There are a couple of libraries available with this type of functionality.
You can use Koders to see if they do what you want. FreeImage and openil
came up at the top:
