I've posted this in the Mac newsgroup ... but hopefully also posting it
here will get more (quicker) responses.
I'm using IE 5.2 on OS X and am getting "permission denied" error when
trying to accessing the location.href property of the opening window
(i.e. "opener" window).
i did set the document.domain property in both pages to be the same
(e.g. mydomain.com).
The same pages/js code works in OS 9 IE (don't know the version of IE).
It also works if i don't set the document.domain property (however, i
need to set this since there are cases where different servers in the
domain are involved).
if anyone knows of the cause and hopefully a fix or a work-around to
this problem, please let me know.
thanks in advance!
