major asp.net error

A value of type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.ContentPlaceHolder' cannot be
serialized.

I keep getting this error message wen i go to pages in the site i created. i
had to move locations this week and now i have put the site back up for the
company, it is not working at all.

please help me thought .NET is suppose to serialize those namespaces

If you show us a stack trace then it might be a bit more helpful in trying
to track down the problem.

Another question -- why would anything in your application need to be serializing
a Placeholder? You're not storing that control in session state then trying
to use the out of proc session state management techniques?

i got it sorted there was an error in the sql select command which returned
the error.
