I'm sure this is probably simple, but I need to make sure I have my
bases (and files) covered...
I'm going to be re-formatting my pc and re-installing windows2000 plus
Visual Studio.
I want all my Visual Studio projects to be set up the same as they are
now...
- Solution files are stored in My Documents (visual studio default)
- My project files/folders are stored in the inetpub/wwwroot folder
I've backed up my wwwroot folder and also the My Documents folder to a
CDR.
When I reinstall, after I copy the solution files back to My Documents
and the project files back to wwwroot, do I also need to create some
virtual directories in IIS for each project?
Can I then open the projects up in Visual Studio, as before, or are
there other files I'm missing, or registry entries I need to take into
account?
Any info would be great,
Thanks.
