Does anyone know if the new MS C++ .net 2003 is a "crippled" version, like
the original C++ .net version?

Define crippled....
and if you have some way for me to test if its crippled on my system I'm
more than happy to.

I read somewhere that if you buy only the Visual C++ component of the Visual
Studio .NET suite, that it didn't contain the complete functionality of the
entire Visual Studio .NET package. Since I don't use Visual Basic, I would
only be interested in the C++ component, but it isn't completely functional.

I assume Visual C++ .NET 2003 includes additional functionality and features
over the original Visual C++ .NET version.
