Still trying to implement polyfiting It sounds so familiar to me. A
couple of years ago I had to exactly the same thing when converting MatLab
code to portable ANSI-C. Unfortunately I cannot give you that code since it
belongs to one of my former clients.

However there is some freely available source code on the net; try the
Newmat C++ matrix library (http://www.robertnz.net/). You might also want to
take a look at VSIPL (http://www.vsipl.org/) which amongst many things also
supports QR decomposition.

Do a little Google search and you can find probably a lot more or this
stuff.
