newbie question on Master pages and WebContentPlaceHolder

I would like to develop a Master Page with ASP Net 2.0 that allows me to
display output from a reporting tool called WebFocus.

My idea was to create a Master Page with a content Placeholder in which I
could give it a URL of a report created by WebFocus. However, there does
not seem to be a URL property on the ContentPlaceHolder. Therefore, I'm
guessing that I may be going down the wrong path.

Question 1: Is what I am trying to do feasible?
Question 2: Does anyone know of some example code? Or could anyone share a
snippet?
