Newby question: how convert hmtl -> jpg?

Hi there!

Can you tell how to convert a html-file into a jpg-file? Any prog that can
do that? I know html2jpg can, but that's pretty expensive (I'm not going to
need this very often).

Thanks for your reaction!

You mean like a screen capture? Any image editor should be able to do that
for you. Start the image editor first, then start its capture mode, switch
to the browser and start the capture. I use PhotoImpact from Ulead.

Otherwise, on Windows Alt-PrintScreen will do a screen capture, then you
can paste it into your image editor. I don't know about other platforms,
but I'm sure they must be able to do something similar.

Irfanview is useful here - and priced right! :)

Not what is wanted. He wants to take the web page and convert to a jpg.
Similar to performing a print screen, but if the page is bigger than the
screen, that won't matter.
html2jpg does the trick but is priced at $30 for a license.
this type of a conversion would have to take into account what is being
shown as a web page, then translating that into raster code and eventually
to jpg format.
A possible way of doing so would be to print the page, then scanning it.

Surely it's far simpler to do two or more screen captures of various parts of the page and just join
them together in Photoshop. That's the way I've done it and you can't see the join either.

That's the long-winded way :~(
