What a good newsgroup for C++ (specifically MFC Programming) where I can use
the newsgroup on Windows Live Mail. They've removed "public.mfc" was
removed.

There are forums in MS websites - though, those aren't newsgroups.

A search for "mfc" on my news provider server returned the following
groups, have a look if they're still available:

comp.os.ms-windows.programmer.tools.mfc
microsoft.public.vc.mfc
microsoft.public.vc.mfc.docview
microsoft.public.vc.mfc.macintosh
microsoft.public.vc.mfcole

Use http://eternal-september.org/ as your news provider.
http://eternal-september.org/ still has all the microsoft groups
that news.microsoft.com deleted.

Yeah, but when Microsoft has discontinued Usenet support, doesn't that mean that
articles posted via Microsoft's web interface are not propagated to Usenet?

And vice versa, that articles posted to the Usenet groups are not propagated up
to Microsoft's web thingy?

I think the politicians who want to stop Usenet and most all other kinds of free
uncensored speech (in particular a New York politician), especially those who
have been instrumental in partially succeeding in that, should be whipped and
tarred and feathered and put on public display where we can spit on them.

Dont know. Not sure that I care. The microsoft.public.* groups
that I use are still working from http://eternal-september.org/ .

I believe some people in charge have a problem with all the good info
appearing on all the wrong search engines. That's why they tell us
that we all want a proprietary format for registered and logged-in
users only.

Apparently there has been a strong demand for this from the Community.

Hmmm, I've heard some unflattering expansions of the MFC initials, but
that aside, this is a C++ newsgroup and as such MFC is somewhat off topic.
