I want to obfuscate my signed applet.

Obfuscation or signing? what came first?

What do I do first?

P.S I signed my applet after obfuscating, but the applet didn't work.

They may be incompatible IF code that is obfuscated does any sort of
signing check.

If the obfuscation mechanism is complex, it would have to be unfolded
before running. Do the signing checks happen on the folded or
unfolded version or both?

Does signing prevent self-modifying code? I don't know, but it if did
it might take a dim view of obfuscation.

You might try a different obfuscator or drop it altogether.

Obfuscation.

It changes the bytes so you can not do it after signing.

Caused by another problem.
