open source JavaScript debugger that I can port to a new browser

Does anyone have any recommendations for which open source to use for
a JavaScript debugger I want to port to support a new browser? This
isn't for one of the more popular browsers.

I'm thinking about first looking at the open source debuggers for
FireFox, but I figured I would first ask the above question to see if
there is a better starting point ;)
