Piggy-back site on another?

I have one ASP.NET website, www.gertes.com

I also have another domain, e.g. www.mynewdomain.com which isn't hosted
anywhere. Can redirect www.mynewdomain.com to a folder such as
www.gertes.com/mynewdomain and have www.mynewdomain.com and
www.mynewdomain.com/pages/whatever still appear in the browser's address bar
at the top so that people think they are surfing in that domain?

mynewdomain.com will have to be hosted somewhere so that it appears on the
world's domain name servers.

The ISP that you choose to host it should be able to redirect any requests
for that domain to another URL...

OK it's currently parked at godaddy.com. Even if they agree to redirect it,
can I make the URL that appears in the user's address bar still say
www.mynewdomain.com/pages/whatever?
