I am experiencing a problem where I am unable to print a
complete web page.
When using IE6.0, if I do a right-click on the full
browser window and select print (or select print from the
File menu), the resultant output is incomplete with only
the top elements and left hand navigation being printed.
Do the same on IE5.5 and it will print exactly what you
see on the screen.
My client has done exactly the same thing on the BBC
website, and that works fine for them - which points me to
a problem with my code. Other IE6.0 users not working for
the same company have tried to print from IE6.0, and they
also get incomplete results.
I have added a "printable version" to the site, which
opens the main data in a console without the look & feel -
that works fine.
There are NO frames on the page (ASP, IIS 5.0, SQL Server
2000 on a hosted server).
Has anyone come across this before and do they know what
causes it / how it can be fixed?
