Problem with Windows XP

Hello,

Five years ago, I did a c++ program with Direct Draw 4. When I use my
program with Windows 98, ME or 2000, it's work very good. But now,
when I want to use it with Windows XP, my program is very slow.
Do have an idea about this problem?
